Unsure whether MNU have finally manged to decode and make use of their own weaponary, the Aliens are wary. They are also hungry.

During the first visit the Prawns traded with the Nigerians, so it was only natural for them to rekindle those ties. By swapping weaponary for delicious cat food, the Prawns now have a useful ally.

The Nigerians are carefully positioning themselves for the future. If the Prawns should destroy MNU and Euro Corps, then the Nigerians would become the dominent criminal force in the world and the only humans will access to Alien Technology. There is much to be gained and the cost is cheap - cat food.

As the battle lines are drawn, the Nigerians sit patiently waiting for the Prawns to strike and for themselves to pick up the pieces.

But MNU are in no mood for negotiation. They've bolstered the defences at their main HQ and research facility based in Nottingham UK and have enlisted the help of Euro Corps.

Euro Corps, like MNU, are a privately contracted security firm but based largely in Western Europe. Where MNU draws from South Africa and the UK for it's manpower, Euro Corps recruits from Holland, Germany, France, Belgium and other Western European countries.

In a secret deal, MNU have offered Euro Corps joint access to the Alien Technology they have already aquired in exchange for military assistance against any impending Prawn attack.

Confident that with the help of Euro Corps they can beat off any Prawn attack, the MNU dig in and wait for the February 5th deadline to elapse.
